Emily Schehlein, MD
Dr. Schehlein is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center and her Glaucoma Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. Dr. Schehlein is the author of multiple articles in high-impact journals, as well as book chapters. Her research in glaucoma is focused on cost-effectiveness, environmental sustainability, surgical methods, and electronic health record implementation. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, Women in Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
