Ramya Swamy, MD, MPH
Dr. Swamy is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where she also serves as the Program Director for the Ophthalmology Residency program. In addition, she works as a glaucoma specialist at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Dr. Swamy cares for patients with glaucoma, cataract, and other common ophthalmic conditions. She is passionate about providing excellent medical and surgical care to her patients. Her research interests include assessing outcomes of glaucoma surgery and surgical education of residents and trainees.
