Saundra Light Gibbons is an occupational therapist who advocates for her patients and encourages them to advocate for themselves and their family members. Her father had glaucoma and she was diagnosed with glaucoma about 9 years ago. Saundra stopped working as a traditional occupational therapist in 2022 due to her vision loss from the condition. She is also a Prevent Blindness ASPECT Patient Engagement Program graduate and seeks to educate others so that they can be the best version of themselves.
