Responsum for Fibroids is a platform designed to empower and support women with uterine fibroids (UF), as well as their family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Our mission is to provide you with everything you need to confidently make well-informed decisions about your health and increase your quality of life.
Developed in collaboration with hundreds of patients with chronic conditions and diseases, this unique digital education platform and mobile app centers around comprehensive, extensively vetted, and trustworthy resources about fibroids. Moreover, all of our content is written by expert health writers with guidance from medical experts and patient community leaders at The White Dress Project and CARE About Fibroids.
The platform is free to all users and comes equipped with a series of useful, community-oriented features to best serve fibroids patients. These include the Newsfeed, which is updated daily with new article summaries on fibroids-related topics, and the Community Chat—a moderated social wall, where users can connect to share their experiences and advice with one another.
Responsum for Fibroids is made possible by financial support from AbbVie, whose mission is to “discover and deliver innovative medicines that solve serious health issues today and address the medical challenges of tomorrow.” AbbVie does not own or control Responsum for Fibroids and does not influence the information or services provided.
