To my amazing team of colleagues at Responsum and all of you who have supported us along the way, thank you!  We are really doing it!

Earlier this month, I had the honor of being part of a panel at the #VIVE22 (HLTH) conference in Miami during the StartUp Health Festival to talk about what we’re doing at Responsum Health to improve the knowledge base and self-confidence of people with chronic health conditions. It was incredibly exciting to share the stage with some super-impressive health innovators, such as Michael Tu from Everyplace Labs, Vitor Asseituno from Sami, and Marina Borukhovich from YourCoach.Health, in a panel moderated by Stefano Bini, Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, UCSF, and Founder & Chair, DOCSF: Digital Orthopaedics Conference San Francisco (DOCSF).

The conference drew thousands of health IT stakeholders from around the world and afforded me a great opportunity to share ideas, make connections, and learn helpful lessons from important and influential people and leading companies, both large and small.

While in Miami, I couldn’t help but remember that just two years ago, right before the pandemic, I traveled to the previous incarnation of this conference in San Francisco. Unlike that conference, however, where Responsum Health could really just talk about our initial app in pulmonary fibrosis and its several hundred users, this year, we had SO MUCH to talk about.

With our 6th platform just launched (menopause) and our total app downloads approaching 20,000, Responsum Health is a legitimately respected player in the patient engagement space. Potential collaborators and investors shared our excitement at the remarkable results from the benchmarking surveys of Responsum platform users – results that show massive improvements in patients’ self-confidence, health knowledge, and willingness to engage with their providers. Others with whom I met were intrigued at the value of the unique “real-world” insights generated from our online patient communities. In both cases, it was clear that our vision is proving itself in real-time, and people are noticing us.

To my amazing team of colleagues at Responsum and all of you who have supported us along the way, thank you!  We are really doing it!
